Myths are woven in to try to understand how people cope with the devastation and trauma. A girl divulges bits and pieces of her own memory of her grandmother and mother to tie in the experiences she felt visiting this ravaged port city. Munzur Director: Mehmet Gürü Avcu Turkey, 2022 33′ Munzur River in Ovacik is sacred to the people of the region and Munzur has become legendary. In this legend, which has been told from generation to generation, some details about Munzur are missing. Signs about who Munzur is are hidden in the stories.
